This tour takes you through a neighborhood that was designed in the shape of a menorah, a neighborhood that has become the gathering place of migrant workers from all over the world: Eritreans, Sudanese, Philippines, and more. We’ll delve deep and set out on a culinary journey that will engage all of our senses with strong flavors and colors that are completely new to the palate. The famous Israeli playwright Hanoch Levine grew up in this neighborhood’s dynamic and restless atmosphere, which is also home to the central bus station. There we’ll sample Philippine delicacies, fresh, warm Eritrean bread, snacks, Asian foods, and all kinds of desserts…in short, it’s a trip abroad without leaving Israel. We’ll hear the stories of the neighborhood, sample its signature drink, and find all kinds of surprises. Most importantly, we’ll connect
